Gifts For Yourself | Clear Skin With Clarisonic Mia 2

This is a sponsored post in partnership with Clarisonic and Her Campus Media. All words and opinions are my own.

Gifts For Her Clarisonic Mia 2 Review

I pride myself on being an excellent gift giver, especially when buying something for myself (**insert winky face**). Something you may not know about my husband and I is Matt and I don’t buy gifts for each other’s birthdays or Christmas – because we buy ourselves the gifts we really want.

This past year Matt bought hunting gear for himself and I explored the options of what I wanted: a new camera lens, purses, jewelry, tablet, or beauty products. I’ve always wanted a Clarisonic Mia 2 though I was always stuck on the price – was it worth the pretty penny?

If you are looking for a special gift for yourself or a beauty addict (like myself) this is the perfect gift. I don’t know how I’ve been without it! I have very dry and sensitive skin so at first I was apprehensive on investing in a sonic cleansing device but it is gentle on my skin and does not irritate it at all.

Use the coupon code HERCAMPUS for 15% off your Mia 2 device. Valid until November 20, 2016.

I don’t use the cleanser on a daily basis, more like once or twice a week. It’s a gel cleanser that foams – it lathers nicely with the Clarisonic Mia 2. Though make sure you close your eyes when you are doing your forehead or you may get some suds in your eyes!

I love using the mask once a week – it leaves my skin feeling refreshed and glowing. Once the mask has dried I wet the Clarisonic Mia 2 device and turn it on – there are two speeds for cleansing and deep cleansing.

It has a timer that helps you focus the brush on your t-zone – once the timer goes off it turns off the device so you don’t overwork your skin.

Then I rinse the remaining mask off, pat my face dry, spray my DIY toner (distilled water with a few drops of tea tree oil) onto a cotton pad, and moisturize with a pea size amount of coconut oil.
