Are you looking for back to school kids sales? I’m a sucker for a sale if it’s something I was going to buy at full price anyways, and back to school clothes are definitely on my end of summer to-do list!
Beforehand I should mention the Tea Collection summer sale of an additional 30% off sale items and an additional 50% off sale dresses is on until August 9th, 2020!
My eldest daughter has always been a dress and leggings dresser, it was quick and easy for her to pick out her clothes and she preferred dresses to many of the shirts I bought her. I was prepared not to do any back to school shopping, she has plenty of dresses and leggings to suffice for this year (I bought them a little bigger last year and they fit perfectly this year). Well as you can imagine that all changed the summer going into grade 2, and she expressed to me that she does not like to wear dresses. So here I am at the beginning of August trying to find some cool shirts and pants for her that won’t break my budget but are cool enough for her to feel confident in.
I was checking out @familytravelist Instagram stories and Lori’s youngest daughter was wearing an adorable swimsuit from Tea Collection, I headed over to their site and their sale section was an additional 30% off (and the dresses on sale an additional 50% off, but that’s not what I am on the hunt for).
I ended up shopping in the tween section, the sizing is 7-14 year olds, and my oldest wears a 8-10. Here is my back to school haul for her:

- Oversized Boxy Tee
- Striped Long Sleeve
- Striped Hoodie
- Le Tigre Striped Tee
- Dolphin Tunic
- Striped Tunic
- Charcoal Leggings
- Blue Leggings
- Plaid Leggings
The Tea Collection is a USA based online store where their children’s clothing is designed in San Francisco and made ethically in Peru, Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia and China. They only work with reputable manufacturers who follow high standards of good working conditions and are child labour free. Social responsibility and fair trade are values of their brand, and are certified by third-party social compliance auditors.
It’s difficult to find socially conscious children’s brands that have good prices for high quality clothes. That’s why I am excited to share with you their current summer sale!
While I didn’t make it to the site’s threshold for free shipping, the shipping was only $15 to Canada. My savings overall were $100 from the original total – these kids clothes will be hand-me-downs to my other 2 daughters so it was a great deal in the end.
So don’t walk, you need to run before sizes sell out! These deals are too good to pass up – I even stocked up on future sizes for my baby boy so that he can grow into these amazing clothes on sale.
When do you do your back to school shopping? Are you a last minute shopper? Or do you check it all off when you see a killer sale?
