What a grand adventure we had this weekend in Edmonton with Ford Canda! I was surprised it was not snowing yet, but we had lots of cold rain. The weather didn’t stop us from staying cozy while outdoors at Prairie Gardens (in Bon Accord, AB) enjoying our Harvest Bonfire reservation.

When we arrived at Prairie Gardens the staff were so incredibly helpful! You only need a mask for going inside buildings, like the General Store. Otherwise, it is all outdoors, even the Harvest Bonfire!
There was a beautifully fall-decorated table with our food and desserts ready when we arrived! There was a covered fire beside the sheltered table to keep us warm. The bonfire was outside with chairs to relax, and cook your hotdogs and marshmallows. We also had a delicious variety of Prairie Garden’s fudge and cookies.
After we finished eating we had a tour of the grounds, we were able to visit the petting zoo where there were adorable baby bunnies to hold, and then had a memorable ride on the train with Mrs. B the conductor!
Thanks to Ford Canada we stayed warm and dry on the way home!
The 2021 Ford Explorer’s 4 wheel drive made our backroad drive smooth. I still love the assisted parking, extended sunroof, wireless phone charging pad, and seat belt feature on the display that shows you whose seatbelt is not buckled.
